In July 2009, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) and Germany's MAN signed a strategic cooperation agreement: MAN purchased a 25% stake in CNHTC for €560 million, and CNHTC acquired the complete vehicle technology for the MAN TGA, along with the full set of D08, D20, and D26 series engines, axles, and part of the transmission system technology for €90 million.


(1) First-Class Craftsmanship and Technology

Domestic products based on German MAN technology:

The original MAN TGA technology was introduced, adopting the same product design, production assembly process, consistency management, testing and verification, all the way to product release using German standards. Critical engine components are sourced from MAN’s original suppliers, and the chassis incorporates a large number of top international components, ensuring the vehicle’s high reliability.

(2) Advanced Key Components

Engine: B10 life of 1.5 million kilometers

Transmission: ZF + HW (CNHTC)

Dual-brand guarantees reliable transmission

Front and Rear Axles: Lightweight design, reinforced sealing, resistant to water ingress, with smooth and comfortable braking

B10 life refers to product reliability. B10 can be understood in two parts: "B" is commonly believed to stand for Bearing, and "10" represents a percentage.

ZF is a Fortune 500 automotive parts company and one of the top ten global automotive parts suppliers.

(3) Optional PTO Configurations

PTO, short for Power Take Off, is a mechanism used to draw power from the vehicle’s chassis system and transfer it via the drive shaft to the vehicle’s pump system, thus enabling the operation of special functions of the upper body.
