In the basic protection of firefighters, the most commonly used air cylinders are the 9L and 6.8L specifications, with a rated pressure of 30Mpa. Taking the 9L empty air cylinder as an example, at 30Mpa, the cylinder stores approximately 2700L of air.

At standard atmospheric pressure, 0.1Mpa = 1 standard atmosphere. When at 0.1Mpa, a 9L cylinder can store 9L of air. At 30Mpa, the air is compressed 300 times, i.e., 9×300=2700L

When the inflation pump's filling rate is 315L/min, the time required to fill one 9L air cylinder can be calculated as follows:

Time Required:=2700L/315L/MIN≈8.57 MIN
